If you have a desire to do some antique and thrift hunting and it’s not Sunday, you still have a choice in Rowley, MA home of the renowned Todd Farm flea market. Every Thursday afternoon and Saturday for a few hours you can browse the Congregational Church’s Fellowship Thrift Shop. We have been enjoying this treasure for years. It is full of everything - well no toys, books, or electronics – those donations are not accepted per their website. The prices are very affordable. The people visiting and volunteering will chat if you are in the mood. Clothing moves in and out quickly, I see younger folks checking for vintage finds. This shop is small but mighty - there is ample kitchen and glassware. Looking for a crockpot or other appliance? You will find a clean one here. Looking for a set of dishes? There were several sets reasonably priced. There is a craft section, purses, greeting cards, linens, some furniture…
Interesting items on our last visit included a beer can cooler, a nice antique iron painted pink, a beautiful wicker suitcase stand and classic pom-pom curtains (mid-century fun!). They offer gift certificates and that is a brilliant thrift shop idea.
Open Thursday 3 – 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am – 1 pm. Located at the back (and basement) of the church at 175 Main Street with ample onsite parking. Bathroom available.
